I tried the slider - no good. i got what i paid for.the Mad Catz component cables did not work for my Wii. When I attached them, my onscreen colors went all gray, and the option to switch to HDTV in the Wii display settings was also grayed out. I have a Panasonic Viera TH-50PZ85U 50" and I tested both of the component inputs with my Blu-ray player - both were OK.So these Mad Catz cables are, as Sir Charles would put it: 'Turrible'. They were MUCH worse than the original Wii composite cables.buying the Nintendo cables and learning my lesson.
Use this for the kid's different systems. A little cheaply made, but works well. Really nice not having to detatch cords every time they choose to play another system. Make sure it works for your system before buying.
The cable made an obvious improvement, and exceeded what I expected to get out of it. I used the component cable for my PS2. We had been having issues not being able to read lyrics and see details on Guitar Hero and Rock Band. It also reduces eye fatigue and possible headaches during long periods of play. I highly recommend the product, and especially for the price.
GREAT. Wish they had this type cable assembly when I first got the game deck.
Also, we weren't able to have two devices hooked at once and switch between them. This product works fine, if you don't want to keep 2-3 devices hooked up at once. First of all, the split end of the cable is quite short (~2 inches), not leaving much room for attaching to multiple outputs, requiring one device to practically be stacked on top of the other. The picture came through, but no audio, and we had to unplug one device to get audio for the other. For us, this defeats the purpose of having one cable to hook multiple devices to the same input on a single TV.
